APRIL 8: ECLIPSE

Bellville ISD is excited to experience the upcoming Total Eclipse event on April 8, 2024. Our administrators and teachers are working together to create an engaging experience for our students. 

All students at O’Bryant Primary, O’Bryant Intermediate; and West End Elementary; and students who are with a Science Teacher during FLEX at BJHS & BHS will be provided with eclipse viewing glasses for safe viewing throughout the event. We’ve also shared instructional resources to engage all learners in understanding this once in a lifetime event. 

Students who do not have viewers will be kept inside between 12:15pm and 3:00pm on Monday, April 8, 2024 to prevent any potential exposure during the time that may be dangerous to be exposed without protective eyewear.

BISD STUDENT BOARD REPRESENTATIVE APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

Bellville ISD is committed to developing effective communication and leadership skills for our learners. These efforts culminate with an opportunity for a student to serve as a BISD Board Representative to effectively utilize their voice in the leadership efforts of the District.
