BISD SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES THE 2014-2015 SCHOOL CALENDAR
On Thursday, February 20, 2014, the Bellville ISD School Board approved the 2014-2015 School Calendar. The first day of school for students will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
NOTE: The 2014-2015 calendar is subject to change as a result of recent changes to the state testing calendar. The April 2, 2015 holiday may be moved to April 6, 2015 after consultation with the district site-based committee and further approval by the BISD School Board.

The Bellville FFA Wildlife Judging Team
finished first and fourth in the San
Antonio Wildlife Contest on Friday Feb.21st. Matthew Luedeker earned high point
individual and received a $10,000 scholarship as well as Wyatt Blezinger who
earned a $10,000 scholarship for finishing second. Also on the team was Tucker
Long. Finishing fourth was the Junior team that consisted on Gabriel Janish-
third high individual, Ben Shupak, Cole Moses, and Dauson Wittner.
Congratulations go to our Bellville High School Art Students who recently competed in the Visual Art Scholastic Event, held at College Station High School in College Station, Saturday, February 15. These students competed with other schools within our region (2A-5A). Students were scored from a range of 1 through 4, with 4 being the highest score. TEA Releases 2013 Accountability Ratings
Bellville ISD exceeds all district standards set by TEA in the 2013 Accountability System. All BISD campuses exceed all campus standards set by TEA.
Bellville High School earns two Distinctions in Academic Achievement in Reading/ELA and Academic Achievement in Mathematics.
West End Elementary earns a Distinction for Top 25 Percent Student Progress.
