Museum Mission Statement
Bellville I.S.D. Museum established in 2009, attempts to preserve the colorful history of the Bellville Independent School District.
Museum Policy
Volunteers set up the museum, and continue to maintain the collection. Everything in the collection is either an item that had been preserved by the district or donated by individuals. The B.I.S.D. Museum is sustained only by donations from the public. Since space in the museum is limited, museum volunteers also, have the right to rotate items displayed, reject items and archive duplicate items.
Donations
The BISD Museum is always looking for more memorabilia to add to the collection. If you have items from your days in BISD and you don't know what to do with them, please donate them to the museum. Museum volunteers will take care of them. Items can be dropped off at the BISD Administration Building from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each week day.
Class Reunions
Any classes planning reunions are invited to visit the museum as part of their activities. The museum will open on Saturdays for class reunions. Please contact one of the volunteers or call 979 865-3133 to schedule your visit.
