I am a 1993 graduate of Schulenburg High School. After attending Texas State University (Southwest Texas State University), I graduated with a degree in Chemistry. I then began working for the Southwest Texas University Polymer Research Group as a graduate research assistant before attending Baylor University where I received a Masters in Business Administration in 2000. I began my career working in the private sector as an outside sales representative for a chemical company in Houston and then as a departmental supervisor over Catalytic Converters for a muffler company before entering into the education field. I taught chemistry, physics, and IPC at Rice CISD and Weimar ISD before taking an accountant position at Giddings ISD. In 2008, I was hired as the Business Manager for Bellville ISD before being named Chief Financial Officer for the school district.

I am committed to maintaining a standard of excellence for Bellville I.S.D.’s Business & Finance department.
