Michael Coker (Superintendent)

The mission of the Bellville ISD is to provide a high quality, well-rounded education that prepares all students for success. As superintendent of Bellville ISD I look forward to being a part of that mission! After graduating from Killeen High School in 1981, I attended Texas Lutheran University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Secondary Education in 1985. I have, also, attained a Masters of Education with certification in Mid-Management and the Superintendency. During my 25 years in education I have spent 20 of those years in teaching and coaching, with the last ten years as Athletic Coordinator/Head Football Coach. Within that 10 years, the last four I have served as Assistant Superintendent.

Kenneth Stein (Deputy Superintendent)

My entire professional career has been in education.  After graduating from Odem High School in 1963, I attended Texas A&M University Kingsville and received my Bachelor of Arts in 1968 and my Master of Arts in 1973.  My 40+ years in education began as a teacher of English and Reading to 6, 7 and 8th grade students in Odem I.S.D.  In 1973, I became an elementary principal for Odem I.S.D., followed by principalships in Wallis-Orchard I.S.D. as a junior high principal and high school principal.  In 1985, I was named the Assistant Superintendent for Bellville I.S.D.  In 2007 my title changed to Deputy Superintendent.  Bellville I.S.D. is the place to be!
